This page only works if it is honest, so let us start there: Codecademy is a strong product, and for plenty of people it is the better pick. Here is where the two of us actually differ.

Their strength is breadth. Hundreds of courses, from C++ to cloud certifications, and a track record going back to 2011. Our strength is finishing. We keep a small, focused catalog and wrap it in mechanics built to bring you back tomorrow: five-minute items, streaks, diamonds, weekly leagues, and an AI tutor that reads your actual code when you get stuck.

Both of us teach the same way, and we will not pretend otherwise. You write real code in your browser and it gets checked automatically. That part is not the difference.

Breadth. Codecademy publishes hundreds of courses. We publish a focused catalog across web, Python, SQL, and AI. We are the younger and smaller product. If you want C++, Java, cybersecurity, or a cloud certification track, they teach it and we do not.

Track record. They have been doing this since 2011, with millions of learners and a name a recruiter already knows. We are new. That is not nothing, and we are not going to argue it away.

Career services. Their paid tiers carry interview prep and professional certificates. We do not offer either.

You can try it without signing up. Open any course page and there is a real editor waiting, with a real console. Write something, run it, see the output, decide. No email, no account, no card. As far as we can tell, no one else in this category lets you do that.
